Naka Island Resort, Luxury Collection, in Phuket

We arrived at the Naka Island resort by speedboat from the Ao Po Marina. It was about a 10 minute boat ride. A golf cart met us at the boat and took right to our villa. We were in Villa 48, which is the last one way at the end of the resort, next to Z Bar. We arrive at night so the outdoor pictures didn't really turn out.

We couldn't truly appreciate the grounds of the resort until the next morning. We went to Tonsai where breakfast is served and it wasn't crowded at all. The buffet was great and they had all kinds of different food including eastern and western dishes, pastries, fruit, cereal, smoothies, and a pancake and waffle station. One of the employees said that the resort was around 10% capacity, but I think it was a little more than that. The resort did feel very empty though, which was nice.

Awesome coffee and my favorite fruits

The resort feels like a private island. There are all kinds of activities and some are free and some have costs. They have the list of things in the room. They also provide a ferry schedule to the pier, but we never felt like we needed to leave. The hardest thing we had to decide was what to drink at happy hour.

We were there for 4 nights but since we arrived at night the first night, we were only there for 3 dinners. We saved the nicer restaurant, My Grill, for our last night. The restaurants are right next to each other and they have different vibes. My Grill was grilled meats and seafood, while Tonsai was Thai and other types of dishes.
