This is part 1 of my second trip around the world. It was really just a trip to Sri Lanka and Maldives in which I just kept flying west. I used miles to get from LAX to Colombo via an overnight in Hong Kong with connections in Taipei and Bangkok for about an hour each. So legs 1 and 2 were LAX to Taipei and Taipei to Hong Kong on EVA Airways in
