LAX to Taipei to Hong Kong on EVA Airways

This is part 1 of my second trip around the world. It was really just a trip to Sri Lanka and Maldives in which I just kept flying west. I used miles to get from LAX to Colombo via an overnight in Hong Kong with connections in Taipei and Bangkok for about an hour each. So legs 1 and 2 were LAX to Taipei and Taipei to Hong Kong on EVA Airways in

We stayed the night in Hong Kong because there were no connections later that evening. We ended up booking the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in Wan Chai.
